The May minutes were voted on and approved.

Treasurer Report

Local Checking Account = $12,308.37
($7,200 is reserved for the security system)
Local Savings Account = $714.73
Springfield has a zero balance
Grant from Wal-Mart - $1,000.00

Internal Vice President

External Vice President

  • Reviewed Fund Raiser List with attendees.  Fundraisers approved for the 2004/2005 school year:
    • Dinner Auction
    • Trivia Night
    • Spring Fling
    • Home Interior Candles
    • Market Day
    • Together We're Better Certificates
  • For the 2003/2004 School Year the PSA raised approximately $29,235
  • For the 2003/2004 School Year the PSA paid out $24,620 for school expenses and funded programs.
  • Dinner Auction Update – Friday October 8th is the date of the upcoming dinner auction. Classroom projects are almost finished and look fantastic.  Silent and Oral Auction items are being gathered. We need everyone to purchase tickets ($30 per person) for the event.

Principal's Report/Wish List

  • Math Manipulative Kits (K-4th) - $2,200
  • World US Map for 3rd grade - $400
  • PE Equipment - $1,000
  • AR Books - $1,500

Imo's Hot Lunches

Sara Voumard will be coordinating the Imo's hot lunch program.

Athletics

Aurora Schiber, Athletic Director, has asked the PSA to help purchase new sports uniforms for the boys and girls team. She requested $1,500 – 2,000.  The PSA voted to give the athletic program as much if not all of the requested money after the dinner auction – based on the profit of the event.
